  • Integrate Science Intuition and Inquiry, Truth and Reconciliation, Wellness and Interdisciplinary Opportunities into Kindergarten Through Grade 5 K-5 Outdoor Programming

    Build on our current program where our younger learners spend time in and are exposed to an expansive forest replete with opportunities for engagement, curiosity, developing science intuition and inquiry, Truth and Reconciliation learning, interdisciplinary solutions, social skills and nature connectivity, and at the same time experience the impact of this environment on their physical and emotional health and wellbeing. 

    Video: Junior School students take to the ravine guided by art teacher, Carly Suavé, to learn about Indigenous artists and their creations. As the students examine the artworks under the "I see, I think, I wonder" unit of inquiry, they describe their feelings and thoughts on the art pieces.

  • Increase Opportunities for Climate Literacy, Biodiversity Learning, Systems Thinking and Solutions Through Technology, and Enhance Opportunities for Multi-Age Collaborations, Leadership and Agency.

    The progression through to student agency continues in the Senior School through curricula and programming that are rich in opportunities for experiential learning in climate literacy, biodiversity, systems thinking, and leadership, solution-based technology exploration and participation in the Global Goals. Transferable skills and leadership prospects are embedded and, where possible, students will be given opportunities to explore problems in multi-age settings, fostering agency.
